Technological interventions for school children through e learning with solar connection for uninterrupted learning in rural areas

Project Features:

  • 10 schools are expected to be covered under Technological interventions (Solar & e- Learning module) programme in Rural/ tribal region.


  • Total direct beneficiaries: min. 200 school children.

  • Uninterrupted learning module and Joy of learning.

  • Villagers share about 15% (Rs. 10000/-) of the cost of Project which brings their involvement in the project and sustenance is ensured.

  • Necessary approval from Gram panchayat regarding installation of Solar + E- learning model is taken before commencement of project.


Project details

Solar Power Panels :

  • 300 W Solar Panels which will support TV (Audio- Visuals learning devise), 2 Fans and 2 Tube lights

  • Solar power for 4-6 hours even during cloudy /windy days.

  • E-learning Module : School syllabus covered from 1st to 10th std in Marathi and Semi-English medium of State Board

  • Software - Hardware support by service provider.

  • Village contribution is of Rs. 5000/- per unit


BENEFITS OF PROJECT:


There was a huge change in mindset and attitude of Students, Teachers and Parents. Students become bold, interactive and curious to learn. Teachers now became proactive, motivated and eager to develop new teaching concepts. Parents were interested in child education as they could visualize the impact of education on child’s future.

  • Continued learning which leads to better mindset and hence prevents children from getting into anti social elements at an early age.
